Meet at: Lay-by on the A6 (just before intersection of A6 and Chorley Road) at 2.00 p.m.
Bus 575 from Bolton - alight first stop on Chorley Road and short walk back.
Sun 14th April Up Hill, Down Hill and Round about Astley Bridge
Meet at: Green Way Halli'th'Wood, Crompton Way, BL1 8UP (opp Fire Station) at 2.00 p.m.
Bus 525 from Bolton arrives 6 mins past hour, walk will start after it arrives
Sun 12th May Hulton Park Pretoria Pit Circular
Meet at: A6 Manchester Road, Over Hulton, BL5 3JD approx 200 yds past Chequerbent roundabout (just past Beach Hall Garden centre) at 2.00 p.m.
Bus 7 from Bolton - alight first stop after roundabout then walk to start point. No restrictions on roadside parking

This Spring/Summer there is a varied and attractive programme of walks scattered across Bolton. Local history is included in three of the walks this summer, including a disaster, a famous person and two old halls. If you are a regular footpath walker maybe some paths will be new to you, so come and join us. No need to book just turn up. Sturdy footwear is advisable.
