These walks enable you to explore the network of footpaths around Bolton. Each walk, unless specified, is about 4-5 miles in length. Remembrance Sunday.
Those who would like to attend the Remembrance Ceremony which will be held at the Monument in Lead Mines Clough, Anglezarke at 11.00 am on Sunday 8th November should meet at Anglezarke Car Park (SD 620161) at 10.15am or at the monument at 10.45 am. We shall be joining the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, Chorley Ramblers, HF and other outdoor groups attending the ceremony. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to join Chorley Ramblers for a 5-6 mile walk.
For those who prefer to walk at the usual time, they should meet at 2.00 pm, at the Anglezarke Main Car Park. There will an opportunity on the walk to lay poppies at the monument in Lead Mines Clough
